Non-surgical cosmetic interventions: Call for Evidence

AAIC - HEE Call for Evidence

Health Education England (HEE) is working with regulators and royal colleges to conduct a review of the qualifications required for non-surgical cosmetic procedures. This is one of the outcomes of the review of cosmetic interventions led by Professor Sir Bruce Keogh. To inform this review, we are asking all interested parties to contribute to a ‘Call for Evidence’.

In September 2013 HEE established a project to take forward the review of qualifications required for non-surgical procedures. Led by Charles Bruce, Managing Director for Health Education North West London, the purpose of this work is to develop a framework of minimum standards and competences for education and training. This Call for Evidence follows an earlier update on the project sent out on 19 December 2013. Download the document Non-surgical cosmetic interventions (pdf).

A copy of the call to evidence document is available at the Health Education England – North West London (HEE NWL) website by clicking here (pdf).

If you wish to contribute to the Call for Evidence, please send your responses direct to HEE NWL at or by post to Non-surgical cosmetic interventions team, Health Education North West London, Stewart House, 32 Russell Square, London WC1B 5DN no later than Sunday 9 February 2014.
